ABOUT US

David and Tina Barnes have been happily married since 1996. They opened their first small computer repair business in 2003 when they lived near Montgomery, AL. Over the next eight years, they never had an unsatisfied customer. In 2011, they moved to God's country in eastern Tennessee. David and Tina quickly decided to continue servicing their neighbors' personal computer needs here as well. Dr. Computer was created and opened in 2011. We have had many satisfied and repeat customers over the years and hope to continue for many more years to come. You may read about our expertise in our bio's below.

Dr. Computer offers a wide variety of computer repairs and upgrades, including in-home service.

David; Husband, Father, Hardware Specialist and Diagnostician

David is your hardware technician. He will repair or replace whatever component is causing your personal computer to not function properly. He graduated high school in 1986 and joined the military. From 1986 to 1995, David served in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Power Plant mechanical engineer. Upon his Honorable Discharge from service, he entered college and received an Associates Degree in Biomedical Technology. David has been working in the Information Technology field for a Fortune 500 company since 1996, repairing network routers and switches, servers, printers, digital communication equipment, and more.

Tina; Wife, Mother, Teacher, Software Specialist and Programmer

Tina is your software specialist. She will diagnose and fix any software related issue that is slowing your PC or making it difficult to use. Before they were married, Tina was a student at the same college that David attended. She went into the software engineer side of Information Technology and became a computer programmer. Tina worked for three different major insurance companies as a programmer through the Y2K scare of 2000. In 2003, we decided that she was going to stay at home with our first child and that we would be homeschooling all of our children.
